I firmly agree with this young man. He is speaking the truth. A lot of African Americans tend to get upset, when the opposite race points out our flaws. We are always quick to label it racism. Sometimes, it is racism, but not in this case. This guy was just stating a fact. I wish more people would talk about this issue that is destroying the black community.
There might be truth somewhere within Obama's statements, however to blanket it over the entire black community is counterproductive. The guy in the video has no business speaking on it though, he needs to go play somewhere. He clearly had no clue what he was saying.
My fault at the deleted comment, as I failed to proofread before I posted.
Hey there, I'm that "Crazy Man" whose video you placed on your Blog. First, allow me to thank you for giving me extra views. Secondarily, if you had read the comment section, you would see exactly why I said what I said. I said it was directed at the negligent fathers in the African American community primarily, mainly because he was speaking to an African American congregation. However, the same problem goes on in the white community as well. I also pointed out that the ambiguity of this speech is a political tool, so that we all come away with different reactions. That's just how politicians work. Thirdly, I point out that the equivalent to this particular epidemic that goes on in the white community is our absurd divorce rate.
If you came off with the impression that I am being racist, I do apologize. That is not my intention. Instead, I am merely reacting to the speech.
If you want to contact me to discuss it further, please contact me at JWilliamson1987@yahoo.com or on YouTube private messaging.
Mr. Justin... please excuse me if I gave off the tone that you were "racist". Because I don't know you and I can't assume. Also even though I entitled the video "crazy man"... I don't know you so... once again I can't assume. As a matter of fact I'll do you a favor and change the title. But if you read the previous blog you will see that most of my frustration was with Obama. For making statements, which like you said, are societal problems and not just African American problems. He is the one who decided not to make race an issue in this race... and that is what he needs to do. No matter if he is talking about the negatives or the positives of any race. Just stick to your word Obama and we will be okay:) Don't start talking about African Americans when your down in the polls of rural white voters. But just to clear things up... I NEVER said "racist"... you did. I don't know you to make that assumption. Have a nice day:)
I didn't make the assumption regarding you, I apologized just in case. That's why I said "If." I believe it's better just to apologize for something than to fight over it.
The only comment that seemed on racial lines was on this comment section from likeminded, "The guy in the video has no business speaking on it though, he needs to go play somewhere. He clearly had no clue what he was saying." He never said why I have no business speaking on it or why I have no clue, so one can only assume.
Back to your comment, I can't decide what I think about Obama using race. He did say that he didn't want it to be a factor, but every news station covering the election brings it up anyway.
I do find your convictions and opinions very knowledgeable and admirable. Thank you for your reply.

Yes you need to listen carefully to his post. He is just re-stated what Obama and all of us know already.
Thanks
