In the past couple of days I have been accused of being racist. Now, my first argument is to tell them to look up the TRUE definition of racism. But my second one is, "Why am I racist, just because I love being an African American and better yet I love being BLACK?" I mean this can go with plenty of other cases as well... like if a women is a feminist, then she automatically lesbian. Because in order to be proud to be a women you have to be a lesbian??? NOT TRUE!!!

Pro Black, I believe in Black Nationalism, and I think that there are.... how do I put this.... "A lot" of people in "dominate culture" that haven't come to terms with their own privilege and identity (read between the lines); but I do not hate white people!!!! (Let me pull this card) I have a lot of white....ummm.... associates.
Why is it wrong to be proud in yourself!!! Why is it wrong to be proud in your culture??? Why is it wrong to question society and think that just maybe as a black male the system doesn't have my best interest at hand.

Connotatively, being pro-black is associated with being anti-white. When a lot of African Americans are referred to as "ignorant" from the dominant culture, it is affiliated with the N***** word. In today's society it does not matter what the denotative meaning of a word is, it is all about how society views the word. So understand that every time you claim PROBLACKNESS people are going to envision you with a pic in your head and your fist in the air screaming "blackpower!"
Who cares if being pro-black is associated with being anti-white. They can have their own definitions. We can have our own.
Moreover, there is nothing wrong with some Black Power! Black Power doesn't mean that there would be White Oppression. It simply means that Blacks would have broken free from the oppression they face.
Is there anything wrong with Black people riding themselves from the mental slavery that is either pushed upon them or self-inflicted?
